Adventure photographer currently in Alaska, but shooting images all over Western North America. My goal is to translate through the camera the incredible natural scenes we experience, as well as create images that go beyond what our eyes can see naturally. Action shots of skiing and biking are my favorite subjects, but lately I love putting together timelapse scenes and star trail images on the computer. I began shooting seriously in 2010 with the purchase of my first DSLR, and my interest in photography has only grown. My family is very art-inclined with two brothers in graphic design and mother in watercolor/pastels and teaching artistic technique.
I grew up in North-East Colorado, on a farm near the Nebraska border, where the skies and weather dominate the view. The great plains will always be home for me, and growing up in that landscape has greatly increased my appreciation of the mountains that I now live and love to play in! My photography now revolves around backcountry skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer.
I'm always on the lookout for new opportunities and photographic techniques, so please don't hesitate to say hi if you are interested in my photography, whether you want an image or would like to meet and share an interest in photography!
